Muktinath is known as god of salvation. It holds the great significance for all spiritual people residing in south Asian sub-continent. Muktinath is the provider of salvation.It has been one such holy site. Many thousands of devotees pilgrims for attaining the much sought after freedom.We can have holy bath on 108 waterspouts which is also named as “Muktidhara”. Holy bath in Mukti Kunda i.e. Kunda in front of Temple. Hindu devotees take bath under chilled water of 108 waterspouts “Muktidhara” & Mukti Kunda.It is believed that it brings them salvation.
This tour begins from Kathmandu. You will be driving to Pokhara (6 hourrs), on the way visit Manakama Temple via Cable Car ride (15 mins). Next day,Early in the morning we fly from Pokhara to Jomsom (15 mins) and on the same day we drive to Muktinath Temple.we will visit temple and overnight stay at Jomsom.Getting back to Kathmandu we visit Pokhara valley like Bindabasini Temple, Seti Gandaki River, Devis Fall, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave and Barahi Temple at Fewa Lake. In Kathmandu you will be visiting to Pashupatinath Temple, Sleeping Vishnu God(Budhanilkantha), Swoyambunath Temple (Monkey Temple), Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square.
Arrival at Kathmandu. Evening Pashupatinath aarati darshan.
You will receive at the airport and transferred to your hotel. A briefing by your tour leader and an overview about the whole program. Then evening you will be visit to Pashupatinath Temple for Aarati Darshan. While having darsan drive back to Hotel & overnight.
Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara.
It’s 2nd day of our tour we will start the drive towards the magnificent lake city, pokhara with no breakfast or just a cup of tea or you may take breakfast as per your wish and religious believe as you know we know we are going to halt mid way to pokhara, to worship goddess manakamana in the manakamana temple located high on the hill about 1300 metres above sea level. As name suggest manakamana in Nepali language “man” means heart and “kamana” means wishing , it means if you are going to wish anything from bottom of you sacred heart its gonna be fulfilled by goddess manakamana . Actually we will reach to the temple via rope way which is also called cable care locally and is available alongside trishuli river in the place called kurintar .we will worship goddess and we will retrace back to kurintar and continue our drive to pokhara and have some meal afterwards. Its really an spiritually good day for clients mostly.
Fly to Jomsom, drive to Muktinath and overnight at Jomsom.
Breakfast at hotel & transfer to domestic airport. This morning you will be fly to Jomsom approx.15 minutes flights, Hotel Check In, then walk around 15-20 minutes to reach at Jeep Station and drive to Muktinath by Local Sharing Jeep (1.30 hrs.) along the Kaligandaki river. Have Darshan and worship to Muktinath Temple drive back to Jomsom by jeep Overnight Stay at Jomsom.
Fly back to Pokhara and sightseeing.
In this morning you will fly back to Pokhara, Pick up from Airport and transfer to Hotel. After Breakfast proceed to Pokhara city sightseeing places to visit like:
The Phewa Lake, the second largest lake in Nepal, adds to the enchanting beauty of Pokhara. The changing light of the sun on the Phewa Lake provides visual serenity to the lovers of nature. On the eastern side of the lake, visitors can find a cluster of restaurants and pubs. Along with these attractions, boating, sailing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, bird watching, fishing and angling are some of the activities which you can participate in at Phewa Lake. In the midst of the lake stands the Barahi Temple, , where animal and bird sacrifices are offered to the goddess Varahi by Hindu worshippers every Saturday.
David's Fall is a charming little waterfall located about 2 km southwest of the Pokhara Airport on the Siddhartha Highway. Also located very close to David's Fall is Gupteswar Gupha, a mysteriously sacred cave that holds special value for Hindus since a phallic symbol of Lord Shiva is perfectly preserved here in the condition it was discovered in. Locally, it is also named as Gupteswar Mahadev.
Bindhabasini Temple is the oldest religious shrine in Pokhara built in the 16th century. The main shrine of the temple is dedicated to the Goddess Durga where Hindu worshippers flock to perform sacrifices, especially on Saturday.
Mahendra Gupha and Chamere Gufa are two other major, attractive natural sites reached after a two-hour walk north of Pokhara. The Mahendra Gupha is known as the ‘House of Bats’ and Chamere Gufa(Bat’s Cave) are aptly named owing to the number of bats living within theirwalls.
Seti Gandaki Gorge, a wonder of nature that goes underground, vanishing from sight in many places along its route through the city. At various points the river is barely two meters wide and cuts a deep, narrow valley. . A good spot for watching the river below is Mahendra Pul, a small bridge at the center of the city.
The Old Bazaar, 4 km away from Phewa Lake, is a traditional bazaar and a colorful gathering place for an ethnically diverse group of traders. The temples and monuments bear a close resemblance to the Newari architecture of Kathmandu Valley and retain much of its original charm. The old bazaar is also home to one of Pokhara's most important shrines, the Brindhyabasini Mandir.In evening leisure, overnight stay at Hotel.
Drive back to Kathmandu.
You have breakfast being of the early morning. Then drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu by private vehicle, which takes about six hours. While driving from Pokhara to Kathmandu, En route, you could enjoy the mountain views, green sceneries, rice terrace fields, vegetable fields and people being engaged in their daily life activities. From Naubishe you climb up to Thankot, the gateway to capital city.Overnight Stay at Kathmandu.
After breakfast, we begin our sightseeing tour by visiting UNESCO World Heritage Sites within Kathmandu. Kathmandu Durbar Square showcases Nepalese art and architecture at its best. The architecture is typical of the Malla dynasty who ruled over Nepal from the 12th to the 18th century. Swayambhunath Temple is popular among tourists as the Monkey Temple owing to the large monkey population residing in the area. Pashupatinath Temple is situated on the banks of river Bagmati and is one of the principal temples of Lord Shiva. The Bouddhanath Stupa is one of the largest stupas in South Asia which is built on the ancient trade route to Tibet.Included meals: In Evening leisure, overnight stay at Hotel.
