Everest Base Camp Trek is one of the best world’s magnificent journey expeditions most important to the lap of Mt. Everest, the main mountain of the world at 5,335meters altitude. Mount Everest with height of 8848 meters is position proudly at the main altitude of world in the borders of Nepal and China. Everest Trekking is the famous trekking destination in the world known as an enthralling trip to observer the highest mountain of the world along with the perfect flat terrain area known as the Himalayan region. The Everest region is known as the most remote part of the world dominated by ancient Buddhist-Tibetan culture and highlanders tribe living among the wild forest of pinewood, sal, rhododendron and other species accompany by rough rocky roads, distant lowlands, colossal mountain views, suspension bridges, caravans of Yaks doing transportation, traditional highland tribal villages, highland monasteries and 19 holy Gokyo Lakes.

The areas in the region of Khumbu are usually known as the Everest Region. The areas known as the home of the Sherpa and the mystifying Yeti. This trek comprise the Everest Base Camp along with the Namche Bazaar, Lukla, Tyangboche and the whole of Solukhumbu, which is nestled in the laps of looming Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world and also the mount Ama Dablam. The trek to Khumbu area is not only famous for trekking and expeditions but to explore the culture of Sherpa. One can enjoy and learn Sherpa culture very closely by visiting this region. The complete trek starts from Jiri to Lukla. Flying to Lukla is the best option for those visitors who have limited time. Most of the flights depend on weather condition. However, helicopter services and chartered flights are also available as per your request. The Everest Trek is one of the most thrilling adventure treks for excitement-seekers. There are several trekking routes within the Khumbu Region like Kalapatthar, Gokyo Lake, Everest Base Camp and the Syangbochhe trek.

The vegetation at lower levels is dominated by silver fir, birch, rhododendron and juniper trees; at around 4500m the forest gives way to Juniper and rhododendron scrub. The park contains a variety of mammals, Himalayan thar, musk deer, the Himalayan red panda and the Himalayan black bear are all native to the park.The famed Sherpa people, whose lives are interwoven with the teachings of Buddhism, live in the region. The renowned Tengboche and other monasteries are common gathering places to celebrate religious festivals such as Dumje and Mane Rimdu. In addition to Tengboche, Thame, Khumjung and Pangboche are some other famous monasteries that you will come across on your travails in this region.

The trekkers are taken to the Everest base camp from schedule flight to Lukla from Kathmandu it will take about 25-30 minutes time to landing in the Lukla airport. The Trekkers have to travel towards Namche Bazar . Namche bazaar is the acclimatization hub for Everest region. Where you can acclimatize for Everest Region & is full of hotels and lodges accompanied by all the urban facilities like restaurants, internet, telephone, luxury hotels, porters, guides and local entertainment. It is the gate way of Everest region in Nepal. Some traveler have to spend over the Namche Bazaar & take two more nights , walk around the corner to see the Everest ,take a photo as well they will visit near to Namchee bazaar and walk back to Lukla then fly back to Kathmandu too. It is one of the world famous trekking trails in Nepal known as the Everest Region as well as Everest Base Camp Treks. Here you can stroll to Pangboche, Phakding till the Kalapattahar region at 5545meters altitude. The kalapattha region is the most available point of Everest regions which provide the most nearest views of Mount Everest and its adjacent peaks. 

Detail Itinerary

Day 1

Greetings at Kathmandu Airport

You are more than welcome in our Himalayan country Nepal. Our representative will be meeting at the airport and transferred to your hotel. After the arrival, we will be briefing about your trip. Then evening you will be visit to Pashupati Nath Temple for Aarati Darshan, than back to Hotel. Overnight stay at hotel. 

Day 2

A full day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, the capital valley

After breakfast, we will spend 2nd day visiting sites that are enlisted in world heritage sites by UNESCO and are present in Kathmandu valley they are Pashupatinath temple, Bouddhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath Stupa & Kathmandu Durbar Square. First of all we will be visiting to Pashupatinath temple a very holy temple of lord shiva situated on the banks of sacred river Bagmati. Then we will move to the Bauddhanath Stupa is one of the largest stupas built on Kathmandu which is also believed to be built on the ancient trade route to Tibet.Then visit to Bouddhanath stupa is follow by visit to another stupa called swayambhunath stupa which has got largest population of the monkeys in the valley pardon to say this but they will have no harm on us . Finally at the end of the day we will visit to Kathmandu durbar square or its called Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square as well. It’s surrounded by quadrangles, revealing courtyards and temples. It is wonderful showcases of Nepalese art & architecture which was designed by newar artists & craftmen with the amazing idea of Malla/shah kings who has over ruled Nepal form 12th to 18th century. Included meals: Breakfast 

Day 3

Flight from KTM to Lukla and trekking to Phakding (2652m): walking distance 2-3 hours - 7km

Morning breakfast at hotel then we drive to domestic airport. We catch the regular flight to Lukla in the morning will take about 40 minutes time to land at Lukla. If weather has been clear then we can see magnificent views of the mountains, including Everest as we enter deep gorge of the Dudh Kosi valley. While we landed at Lukla then we begin our trek from Lukla, along the way you will have a view of Mt Nupla (5885m), Kusum Kangaru (6367m) and Kwongde Range. We then pack our bag pack & start two trekking to Phakding as well. We have to spend overnight stop and rest of the time stroll around the village for local knowledge. 

Day 4

Phakding trekking to Namche Bazzar (3440m) : walking distance 5-6 hours, – 9km

Breakfast at hotel , We will be start our trek follows the Dudh Koshi valley north, roundabout through the pines, crossing it twice by small suspension bridges before reaching the village of Monjo the entrance gate of the Sagarmatha National Park. Beginning with a slight climb to Jhorsalle, the trail passes waterfall and other culturally and naturally going on items of interest. You will be satisfied with your first sight of Kusum Kangru (6369m) Thamserku (6608m), Everest (8848m) and Nuptse (7879 m). A steep climb up to the beautiful village of Namche bazaar (3440m) will give you further stunning views and a at ease place to spend the second night of the trek.

Day 5

Acclimatization day in Namche

Acclimatization is the very important day for the traveler during the trips at the higher elevation each & every trekking route in Nepal. It is therefore recommended that you should take a short day's hike to Thame, Khunde, and Khumjung or up to the Everest View Hotel so that it provides a very near image of Mount Everest. You can even relax and explore the culture of Sherpa in Namche. Overnight stay at a guesthouse. 

Day 6

Namche Bazzar trek to Tengboche (3867m): walking distance 4-5 hours, 9.5km

Today we have to walk early morning to prepare our trek up to Tengboche from Namche. We have to have much new experience about the culture, nature, & Himalayan views during the trips. Phungithanga you find the trail climbing the forests where you find the musk deer. Tengboche is situated on a saddle at 3870m, encircled by a clear dwarf fires and Rhododendrons.  Kwongde (6187m) Tawache (6542 m) Everest (8,848 m) Nuptse (7855m) Lhotse (8618m) Amadablam (6856m) Thamserku (6608m) offers an inspiring panorama of gigantic Himalayan. You will be visiting the Tengboche Buddhist Monastery which is considered as the largest in the Khumbu region. Overnight stay at a guest house or lodge. 

Day 7

Tengboche trekking to Dingboche (4360m): walking distance 4-5 hours,– 10.5km

 In the morning you can have the spectacular views of the mountain and monastery in Tengboche. You will put most of the morning in the Imjatse Khola through the birches conifers and Rhododendrons. By following the river to the North, the path goes through several walls chortens and peanuts along with the small villages. On the way you can have the best view of Amadablam. After arriving in Dingboche, you cana enjoyed the beautiful array of fields surrounded by stone walls aiming to protect Barley, Buckwheat, Potatoes and Island Peak are the beautiful and great views from Dingboch. Overnight stay at a guesthouse. 

Day 8

Rest day in Dingboche for the acclimatization (4360m)

 Breakfast at lodge or guest house in Dingboche. Today is your second day of acclimatization during the trip to Everest Base Camp Treks.  It is very important to spend an additional night here to aid to the acclimatization process. It can be along a short hike 400 m climb to the Nangkartshang Gompa on the ridge north of Dingboche. Good view of Makalau (8463 m) from here. You can go for a day walk like trek to Chhukung (4,730m) is worthwhile which takes approx. 4/5 hours from Dingboche but it might ruin your rest. To the north of Dingboche, there are spectacular views of Lhotse’s huge South Face. 

Day 9

Dingboche to Lobuche (4940m) : walking distance 4-5 hours,– 7.5km

On the 9th day you will continue your trip through the Alpine region Dingboche high concluded Luboche. On the way to Lobuche, you have to cross the frozen river in Thukla glacier and climb up the hill to watch the magnificent views of the Cholatse, Lobuche, Nuptse and Pumori. Overnight in tented camp. 

Day 10

Lobuche to Gorakshep (5170m), trekking to Everest Base camp (5364m) back to Gorak shep (5170m) : walking distance 6-8 hours, – 13km

In the first section of trek you will start from Lobuche following the narrow space between the moraine of the glacier and the wall, then cross the tributary mountain glaciers to reach the dry lake bed known as Gokrak Shep. You will stop for lunch at the Gorekshep, then walked to the base camp of Everest and explore the area which is famous for the many climbing expeditions up to the Mount Everest. The Base Camp area provides an opportunity to experience the rigors of freezing and brave climbers to the summit of this famous mountain. After exploring the Everest Base Camp, trekking you will be trekking back to Gorakshep. Overnight stay at a tented camp. 

Day 11

Gorak Shep trekking Kala Patthar (5545m) and back to Pheriche (4280 m) : walking distance 6-7 hours – 10 km.

You will leave early tomorrow morning on the11th day and the weather is also bright and clear most of the time which is the best part to climb the Kalapathar and is the highlight of the trip, You will be rewarded with the points of viewing 360 degrees spectacular views of Mount Everest and surrounding mountains. Being back to Gorak Shep, you will have breakfast which is followed by a gradual descent to Pheriche to rest for the night. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.  

Day 12

Trek to Namche Bazaar to Tengboche through Pangboche 6-7 hrs

You will walk along the hillside covered with Rhododendrons and junipers. If it is spring, you will be enchanted with pink and red flowers of rhododendron flames around you. Tengboche the trail drops to Phunki Thanga, from where all the way passes through pine forests and encompasses with an opportunity to see wildlife such as Mountain Goats, Snow Leopard and colorful pheasants. At last you will reach Namche for the night. Overnight stay at a guesthouse. 

Day 13

Namche Bazaar trekking back to Lukla (2850m) : walking distance 6 hours, - 14.5 km

The descent from Namche to the Dudh koshi can be the hardest stage of the entire trek. Although the path is all downhill, the unrelenting slope places massive impact on the knees. Once you cross the high suspension bridge, the path runs mostly level. We will work though rhododendron and pine forests with the view of distance snow covered peak before arriving Phakding. Enjoying the lush green scenery around and passing through the incredible mountain scenery and local Sherpa village arrival in Lukla. You’ll have time to stroll around the local areas. In the evening you can enjoy a typical Nepalese dinner and cultural show.

Day 14

Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu

A final goodbye to our porters and then short flight back to Kathmandu. (It also can be a spare day in case of bad weather in Lukla which makes the Lukla flight delayed and cancel). Overnight stay at hotel

Day 15

Free day in Kathmandu

Today you will have a free day in Kathmandu valley. Have some rest in your hotel. You can also take a leisurely stroll over the streets and buy some souvenirs and remembering from Nepal. We will end the day with dinner at the Rum Doodle Bar & Restaurant – famous for trekkers leaving their stories on big, white footprints!

Day 16

Final Departure

Today is free or last minute you have few hour special shopping for your relatives. We will drop you to the International airport to catch your flight back to your home and wish for your safe journey.
